Since 1979, the Community Leadership Development (CLD) program has been growing leaders in our community. The development program consists of eight weeks, meeting once a week covering topics which include advocacy, healthcare, local history, education, industry, government and leadership.

The goals of the program include:

  • Developing leadership skills that can be used in our community.
  • Developing a better informed citizenry.
  • Providing a unique networking opportunity for area business people.
  • Promoting community pride.
  • Promoting a sense of civic responsibility amongst business leaders.
  • Fostering potential volunteers and support for the Alliance and local non-profit agencies.

RCC President Jason McGuire explained, “I participated in the program last year, and found it was a very worthwhile way to give back to my community. I’m excited for Patsy to have an opportunity to participate in the program this year.”
